Amanda Yaklin - Meet the Business Owner
Amanda has been involved in indoor and beach volleyball for 25 years, playing through the public school system and was awarded college scholarships and captain status and schools first libero during her journey. She prides herself on positive, high level, technical coaching. She has since coached at both private and public schools ranging from 6th grade to division 2 college.
Amanda fell in love with the beach game post collegiate experience. As her game developed in the sand, she reached for higher level training from professional players, GMS training and AVCA conventions. Since then, AMP beach volleyball has expanded from the original location at Northville to Clarkston, Commerce and Shelby - sending youth players on to compete in college. There are currently tournaments at Lake St Clair Metropark, the next location where training will be established.
Amanda is also a certified yoga instructor, stand up paddle board instructor and kayak instructor. She has her masters and secondary education teaching certificate at University of Michigan.
